Joyce Dean Randolph age 84 of Defuniak Springs, FL passed away Friday October 2, 2026 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL surrounded by her loving family.
Joyce Dean Randolph was born on May 8, 1942 in Red Bay, Florida to the late Adolphus and Lucy Jane Clemons.
She was the heart of her family, always making sure that everyone felt loved, welcomed, and cared for. Whether she was cooking a delicious meal, sharing stories, giving advice, or simply enjoying time with her loved ones, she created memories that will be treasured forever. Her beautiful smile, warm hugs, words of wisdom, and loving spirit will never be forgotten. She taught her family the importance of faith, love, forgiveness, and staying together through life challenges.
She was preceded in death by her son: Marc Anthony Randolph, brothers: Cleo Clemons, Lonnie Clemons, and Aninvs Clemons, sisters: Viola Fletcher, Jeanette Clemons, Nannie Andrews, Coreen Andrews, Rosa H. Brown.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, her children: Anthony Randolph (Christal), Verniece Batson (Michael), Lisa Randolph (Ashley), Nicholus Randolph (Tasha), Develyn Randolph (Willie), Kedrick Laird (Katina), and Brian Laird, brother-in-law: Roy Lee Andrews, daughter-in-law: Katrina Randolph and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and dear friends.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness, strength, and unconditional love touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. Even though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that her love will continue to live in each of us.
