Mrs. Ella R. Holden, of Cottondale, Florida, transitioned from life temporal to life eternal on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family, in Cottondale, Florida.
Homegoing Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. from the sanctuary of Mt. Olive AME Church located at 2135 Fairview Road in Marianna, Florida, where Rev. Isaiah Cole is the pastor and Rev. DeRon Johnson, officiating.
Vann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
There will be no public viewing.
She leaves to cherish a lifetime of fond, yet precious memories, a loving and devoted family:
Two Daughters: Evelyn Holden of Pensacola, Florida and Etta Holden of Crawfordville, Florida
Two Sons: Rev. Claude (Johnease) Holden in Marianna, Florida and Cleaver Holden of Cottondale, Florida
A granddaughter she raised as her own: Juwannia (Terrance) Mumphrey of Milton, Florida
And a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
