Emma Lee Newton age 87 of Malone, FL passed away Sunday October 25, 2026 at Jackson Hospital in Marianna, FL surrounded by her loving family.Funeral Services will be held 12p.m. Saturday November 7, 2026 at Snowhill A.M.E. Church located 5696 Snowhill Road Malone, FL with Reverend Charles E. Flowers and Minister Wendy Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery with McKinnie Funeral Home of Campbellton, FL directing. A public viewing will be held from 4 to 6p.m. Friday November 6, 2026 at the Shira, Sr. & Chelcie Memorial Chapel located 5304 Bowden Hill Rd Campbellton, FL.Emma Lee Newton was born in Malone, Florida on August 6, 1939 to the late Meck, Sr. and Nellie B. Newton.
She was converted and confessed Christ at an early age and joined Snowhill A.M.E Church. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family and also loved gardening and doing yard work.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Meck Newton, Sr. and Nellie B. Newton; five brothers: Tyler Lee Collins, Andrew Mack Collins, Mathis Curtis Newton, Curtis Newton and Peter Newton; one sister: Emma Mae Newton-Thomas; and one grandson: Jackeeviyon Terrell Smith “Bean”.
She leaves cherished memories with her children: Elmer “Cowboy” Williams, Terry and Charlotte Jackson; Geneva Taylor, Maxine Pollock, and Julie Ayala (Ernesto); one brother: Shelly Newton; grandchildren: Candy Jackson Virgin, Jennifer Smith (Reggie), Cris Perry, Latoya Pollock, Alex Williams, Alisha Carson, Terry Brown, Charlie Lofton, Lashauna Brewer, Xandra Pickup, DaShawna Collins, DaNiya Collins, and DaVante Collins, Lenicia Brown and a host of other relatives and friends.
